When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, profile photo (via Google sign-in), phone number (optional), and role selection (brand or influencer).

Profile Information

Influencers provide additional information including display name, bio, location (country, state, city), social media handles, follower counts, portfolio content, and bank account details for payouts. Brands provide company name, industry, and location.

Transaction Data

We collect information related to orders, payments, and transactions including amounts, dates, payment references, and delivery records.

Communications

Messages exchanged between users through the Platform are stored to facilitate collaboration and for dispute resolution purposes.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, and device information (browser type, operating system, IP address).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Platform
  • Process payments and manage escrow transactions
  • Display influencer profiles in the public marketplace
  • Facilitate communication between brands and influencers
  • Send transactional emails (order updates, payment confirmations)

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Public profiles: Influencer profiles (display name, bio, location, social stats, packages, portfolio, and reviews) are publicly visible on the marketplace.
  • Transaction counterparties: When you enter into an order or campaign, relevant information is shared with the other party to facilitate the collaboration.
  • Payment processors: We share necessary transaction and banking data with Paystack to process payments and payouts.
  • Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting, email delivery, file storage, and analytics. These providers only access data needed to perform their services.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls.

Bank account details and payment credentials are handled by Paystack and are never stored in plaintext on our servers.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Transaction records are retained as required for financial reporting and legal compliance.
